Riverview Cottage – Lovely Riverside Getaway in Lower Portland, NSW Welcome to Riverview Cottage, a unique rural holiday cottage set on the banks of the majestic Hawkesbury River in picturesque Lower Portland, NSW. Surrounded by nature and rural charm, this fully self-contained, pet friendly cottage is the perfect escape for couples, families, or anyone looking to relax and unwind. The space The cottage features 3x comfortable bedrooms – The main bedroom has 1x queen bed (sleeps 2), and a fold up travel cot for a baby/toddler. Bedroom 2, has 1x king single electric bed, and Bedroom 3 has 1x King Single bed and a roll out trundle mattress on the floor bed. Can sleep 5 people in comfort - (Please Note: One bed is a roll out trundle mattress bed, and is down low on the floor, so probably best as a child's bed). Anymore guests than 5 would be a struggle, as we only have 1x bathroom ( comprising 1x toilet and 1x shower- no bath) Enjoy the convenience of a well-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a cozy bathroom, and a warm living space. The home is reverse cycle air-conditioned, and all bedrooms have ceiling fans throughout, ensuring a comfortable stay all year round. Step outside to enjoy a covered back patio/deck overlooking peaceful grazing land, with a small BBQ, and a small fire pit is available for evenings under the stars (Please BYO firewood). The fully fenced yard is ideal for children and pets, offering both safety and peace of mind. 'Riverview Cottage’ always aims to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and accurate guest numbers when booking is vitally important for that. We would kindly ask all guests to ensure your booking reflects the correct number of people to avoid any inconvenience. Guest access Guests have access to a private entrance, leading to a covered carport for 2 cars, and a lockbox for easy key collection and entry into cottage. Quests check-in after 2pm and check-out before 10am. You’re welcome to bring kayaks or a small fishing boat, with a public boat ramp nearby—please ensure your vehicle is suitable (4x4 recommended) if towing or launching a boat. Whether you're after a unique riverside escape or a little outdoor adventure, Riverview Cottage offers the perfect balance of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty. Other things to note There is only Telstra Network Mobile coverage in the area, so some mobiles may not work, but once inside the house, you will have access to our FREE Wi-fi, so you can use your phone (through WI-FI), and stream your favourite TV channels on the smart TV.
