"Fortuna 1853" Windmill

The "Fortuna 1853" windmill has been lovingly renovated and furnished. It is located in a very quiet, outlying area of Dörpling. From here, you can see not only across the 6,000 m² of pasture surrounding the house, but also far beyond the surrounding fields. On the elevated terrace, you can spend hours letting your gaze wander in style while relaxing on comfortable garden furniture, such as loungers, a beach chair, and high-backed chairs. The interior spans three floors, connected by ladder-like staircases with floor hatches. On the first floor is the entry hall, the well-equipped kitchen with an adjoining dining area, and a large fireplace. There is also a bathroom with a bathtub that features a shower area. The mill’s impressive wooden structures extend throughout all floors. On the first floor is the living room with another dining table and two cozy daybeds, which also double as great sofas thanks to their large pillows. On the third level is the spur gear. This is a gear wheel over 2 meters in diameter into which the circular bed has been built. The windmill, with its large sails, looks both stately and impressive.
