The space Translating as Fox House in Piedmontese, our home is a traditional rural house, dating back over a century, set amidst the rolling hills of a UNESCO-protected landscape. An ongoing, loving restoration and creatively furnished, it offers a comfortable and characterful stay that blends rustic charm with a relaxed, bohemian atmosphere. You will have a private double room and private use of the upstairs bathroom (it's not en suite, but we will be using another). The rest of the house is a shared home environment: a rustic kitchen, an inviting living room filled with books and a projector and cinema screen, a dining room, and a garden where you can enjoy the views and fresh air. In the cooler months we heat with 2 wood stoves on the ground floor for a truly back to nature experience! Ca' d'la Vòlp is not a luxury villa but a cosy, colourful welcoming working home and artist’s house; ideal for guests who are looking for authenticity, cultural character, a creative environment a genuine slice of Piedmontese rural life. Guest access Aside from your room and bathroom, you can also use the kitchen, dining room, living room and garden. My art studio is on the ground floor too, which is generally a private space although I use it for teaching.
