You can freely use the abundant firewood for the fireplaces. The kitchen has a complete and lavish equipment including a coffee machine, which is filled with fresh beans (which, however, would have to be brought along). In addition to the house, the approx. 10,000 m² property with a pond is also at your disposal. The small town of Penzlin is 7 km away from the Meyenburg highway exit, pretty much halfway between Hamburg and Berlin. About 17 km away is the spa town of Plau am See with all possibilities for water sports, a climbing garden, etc. This is also where the Mecklenburg Lake District begins. A summer toboggan run is a 30-minute drive away, the bear forest is a 15-minute drive away. The sea is 1.5 hours away by car - but the lake district gives you a real seaside feeling. There is also the possibility to rent bicycles (but this would have to be agreed in advance). There is a forest swimming pool a few kilometers away (Hainholz), an archaeological park near Wittstock/Dosse, a gliding center (Pritzwalk), the possibility to buy shot game meat in the region (with prior agreement) and much more. The nearest train station is Pritzwalk (about 17 km away). In Meyenburg (3 km away) there are numerous supermarkets. Meyenburg also has a train station, but only a few trains arrive there a day. But sometimes it works... In Meyenburg (3 km) there are three supermarkets (Edeka, Netto and Penny) and a bakery that is even open on Sundays and holidays, albeit only until 10 am.
