Cosy country hideaway near Ashdown Forest

Escape to a peaceful country hideaway beside Ashdown Forest. Set within a private wing of our characterful stable cottage, the guest accommodation has its own entrance and includes a double bedroom, private lounge, kitchenette and shower room, all for your exclusive use. Woodland walks begin nearby, with Hartfield, Pooh Corner and traditional country pubs a short drive away. Free parking and self check-in make it an easy base for a quiet Sussex break. The space We welcome guests for 1-7 nights normal max stay. ( this is open to negotiation) If you want to stay for a longer period we can negotiate a rate ( ie if you are working in the area) If you are looking for the ideal hideaway location this is certainly it! We are located down a rural county track at the back of a large manor house. You WILL need a car as we are some way off the main road and no footpath to the village and pubs etc. Guest access We have a key-safe so you can come and go as you please and late check-in is available upon notice. We are surrounded by glorious countryside so guests are encouraged to take a stroll and have a mini adventure in the wonderful woods and tracks surrounding us! We have storage for bikes etc. There is a great farm shop down the road that serves a wonderful breakfast from 9.30am and sells even better cider that is free to taste! Plenty of room for parking Other things to note We do have two small Jack Russel dogs, but they will not have access to your space. We're on a natural spring system here and we supply bottled water for drinking.
