There are three cabins on site all with their own secluded spot and unique vistas. Slate Park is nestled in a private wildlife haven buzzing with busy birds and industrious insects, perfect for soaking in those most magical hours as the world awakes and welcomes you to a day in Devon with stunning sunrises straight onto your sumptuous king sized bed. The space Slate Park Cabin has an ensuite bathroom with large rainfall and handheld showers. The sink bowl is a bespoke design, hand thrown by local ceramicist, Arwyn Jones less than a mile away in Modbury. The bathroom has underfloor heating for those chilly winter days. In the kitchen there is an induction hob with two rings, a microwave oven and a small fridge. It is fully equipped with saucepans, kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery and glasses. The king sized bed is topped with a sustainably made and environmentally conscious mattress topper from Naturmat. Made using Devon organic wool and biodegradable materials they will whisk you away into a deep sleep and we only use 100% cotton bedding. The cabin has a wood-fired hot tub with jacuzzi bubbles for which we provide log boxes from fallen trees in our woodland. Also included is a ceramic BBQ with charcoal and outdoor hot and cold shower with a useful hand held shower for washing off sandy wetsuits. We provide thick bath towels and cosy soft bath robes. There are no street lights or light pollution up at the cabin so the view of the stars is spectacular. The cabin is private and secluded, not overlooked, and in its own field on a hillside. Find us on google maps to see how private it is and read our 70+ 5* reviews from previous guests. We look forward to welcoming to an escape at The Land Devon.
