The Sanctuary Bush Retreat

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway this it! A rare find 1.5 hours south of Fremantle high up on the Darling Scarp Our large house is surrounded by bush, stunning granite rocks , teeming with birdlife and kangaroo and is adjacent to Lake Brockman (800m away) Relax on the deck looking out at the stunning view to the western coast with amazing sunsets, walk or bike ride on the adjacent Munda Biddi trail, ski or fish on nearby Lake Brockman or simply rest and unwind . Dogs welcome 💐 The space The house is very spacious with 2 lounge areas and a large well equipped kitchen. A large wood fire heater is cosy in the winter months and we provide the firewood- as well as a large fire pit outside on the patio to enjoy the evening sunset and the night sky - stunning starry nights. The outside patio area and breakfast bar are very popular. Our water is UV filtered rain water. Please note- there is no WIFI or TV as we chose to provide an environment to unplug and unwind. Phone reception is reasonable so if needed you can use your hotspot to connect. In the warmer months cooling is provided by a large split system in the main lounge/ kitchen area and ceiling fans in the bedrooms . There are 4 large bedrooms. Each room has a King Size Bed or can be made up with 2 King Twin Beds. The beds are very comfortable and we provide quality linen and towels. The is a main bathroom and a small ensuite off the master bedroom. Dogs are welcome and we have a large well equipped, fenced, grassed backyard for them . Please note that this is a county home and so nature does like to share it at times !! - so please be accepting of insects etc. We do our best to provide a very clean house but webs and bugs can arrive overnight!!
