Mansion in the heart of the village

Beautiful house in the heart of the village, very bright. Comfortable interior for a relaxing and calm time in summer and winter. Recent renovation. You'll also have access to a garden and a flowery and wooded meadow where you can meet our sheep, our cat or our chickens and rabbits. Walks in the woods from the house. Rambouillet and Chartres are 25 min drive. The house can accommodate up to 19 people. The space On the ground floor are the kitchen, dining room and library lounge as well as toilets. On the 1st floor: 3 bedrooms, 2 beds and 1 bedroom, 3 beds. 2 bathrooms + toilets adjoining bedrooms. A shower room + toilet are located on the landing as well as a large desk and a small library. On the 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, 1 with bathroom + toilet. And in the games room: a dormitory for 4 people (2 single beds + 1 bed 120 x 190) and a sofa bed. A laundry room is located in the basement. Another independent house with 5 beds is also open for rent in the garden. https://www.airbnb.com/l/CSaRHmLc On the ground floor you will find a lounge/library area where you can relax, read, play the piano, all by the fire if you feel like it. A large dining room is adjacent to the kitchen of the house which offers you a view of a terrace accessible from the dining room and the garden and swimming pool (closed from September-October to May-June depending on the weather). Meals can be enjoyed by the pool in the summer or under the pergola behind the house. The meadow is accessible from the garden to visit our two sheep, Pamela (the white one) and Côtelette (the brown one). We just have to make sure to close the gate so that they don't feast on our dahlias and other flowering wonders. You can also visit our dwarf chickens and rabbits in the henhouse in the garden of the small house, taking care not to disturb the tenants in their garden (access through a wooden gate next to the henhouse) and to close the henhouse door to prevent any wild escape of our rabbits and the gate (in case of presence of children in the small house that require supervision by their parents). Other things to note We have an old cat🐈, Zut, very independent and nice who will stay with you during your stay :-) Our charming home is more than just a rental - it's our family home. It is filled with memories and personal items, which gives it this warm and authentic atmosphere. We are very happy to share this space with you and hope you enjoy the comfort and all the history that comes with it. Please treat our home with the same respect and care as we do, taking care of the personal items in it. Our house is not suitable for parties. We encourage a respectful and peaceful environment, ideal for enjoying a pleasant stay. When the house is rented, we live in the adjoining house but the two spaces are separate, thus offering everyone total independence. We respect your privacy while remaining available if necessary.
