The space The boathouse is located right by the fjord in the village of Øravíkarlíð in Suðuroy. The guest area is on the upper floor of the traditional Faroese boathouse and can accommodate up to 5 guests. The space includes a cozy living area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. From the windows you can enjoy beautiful views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. Guest access Guests have access to the upper floor of the boathouse, including all living areas and the private terrace by the water. The lower floor (storage/boats) is private and not accessible to guests. There is plenty of outdoor space and free parking next to the house. A gate and private property signs mark the entrance, ensuring privacy and a peaceful stay. The entrance road goes down to the boathouse. Follow the private property signs and gate. The area is very private and quiet. Other things to note The boathouse is located in a very private and peaceful area. Access is via a private road going downhill to the house, marked by a gate and private property signs. The lower floor is private. Guests have acces to the entire upper cabin with stunning fjord views. Weather in the Faroe Islands can change quickly – bring suitable outdoor clothing.
