Single bedroom & private bathroom in a quirky home

We are a relaxed married couple with two cats who let us live in their home. We are happy to share our characterful and quirky home without airs and graces. We respect guests' privacy with a private bathroom for the duration of your stay. Ideally located for exploring Merseyside, Hillside train station just a 5 min walk from our house, only 35 mins to Sandhills trains station perfect for Liverpool & Everton football matches. Royal Birkdale & Hillside Golf club are just a short walk away. The space Our home is characterful and little quirky. You will be sharing our home with two cats Steven & Wednesday, if you have any allergies or aren't keen on cats we are sorry but our home would not be the place for you. The single bedroom is located on the ground floor, with a downstairs toilet just across the hallway, your bathroom is upstairs for own private use and we provide bathrobes for your modesty. We are happy to share our home and you are welcome to use our kitchen to make light meals and snacks. The covered sunroom and all outdoor spaces are only available between April - October due the climate and daylight hours. We are motorbike friendly, we can provide safe areas to park a motorbike as we are bikers ourselves. A light breakfast of unlimited Cereal, Toast, Tea or coffee is included in your stay, which is self service so you’re not tied to a specific time. We have EHU on our driveway should you be travelling in a campervan and wanting to top up your electric and have a night on our driveway, please message to discuss cost. Guest access We will greet you on arrival, give you a guided tour, you will then have a key for your stay. During your stay We will greet you arrival and once we have given you a guided tour and your key you are free to come and go as you please. We allow people to have their own space but you are also welcome to share our living room if you wish. We are happy to give you local advice if required. Other things to note LOCAL ATTRACTIONS Local trains every 15mins Mon-Sat (every 30min on Sunday) into Liverpool, Sandhills station just a 35minute journey from our local train station (the station is a 5 min walk away) ideal for Everton & Liverpool football clubs home games. Just a 10 minute walk from Royal Birkdale & Hillside golf club. A 5 minute drive from Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club. Ideally located for Southport flower show. Award winning chinese take away/chip shop just across the road (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS CASH ONLY). Also within a minutes walk is a small pizza restaurant/take away, a micro pub selling real ales & another small bar. Anthony Gormley's 'another place' 25mins on the train Southport 10 mins by train. Chester 90mins on the Merseyrail network Liverpool city centre attractions 35mins on the merseyrail network.
