Chalet Sardonnere, a wonderful 6 bedroom chalet with great views.

Chalet Sardonnere is a stunning chalet, located in the beautiful hamlet of Vanthier, in Meribel. This lovely family chalet has been newly renovated to a very high standard and offers all the comforts of a family home combined with smart chalet living. The chalet also boasts fabulous views both down the valley and up the valley towards Saulire. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge freezer, large gas hob and oven. The living room/dining room is spacious and very tastefully decorated. In the basement there is a lovely new tv/office room and massage room. All the bedrooms have quality beds and linen. The Chalet has 5 twin/double bedrooms, 3 of which are ensuite and 1 very small single overflow room with a large single bed. The 6th bedroom will take an adult due to the large bed size but please be aware that floorspace is limited. Vanthier is a charming french hamlet with traditional individual chalets. It is situated just below Meribel an easy car or bus ride from the main slopes of Meribel. The chalet has parking for 3 cars and is situated just 50 meters from the bus stop, which can be accessed on foot or on skis. At the end of the day there is an interesting red run from Meribel, making it possible to ski directly back when snow conditions allow. This chalet comes with one 4/5 person locker in the lockers room located under the Saulire bubble at Chaudanne. We always highly recommend hiring the lockers for your whole group because it means that in the morning you can go up to Meribel in your normal shoes, change into you ski equipment and off you go, all very easy. After skiing, change back into your shoes and either go home or go for a wander around Meribel, have an apres drink, maybe go swimming or ice skating. We especially think this is a great option if you have children. The locker room is very well heated and there are heated boot warmers for all the boots in the lockers and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Its possible to book the chalet catered or self catered, choice is yours. The chalet sleeps 10 people and is ideal for 2 families or small groups. The chalet is also available for rental in summer.
