Charming period cottage with lake view

This unique and historic terraced cottage, with spectacular views of the lake, has recently been fully refurbished and is ready to welcome guests. Set in an idyllic spot and only a minute walk from the beautiful Georgian market town, Winchester city centre is just 7 miles away. Alresford is surrounded by stunning countryside and is the perfect location for walking and cycling. There is first come, first served parking immediately outside the property and long stay parking within a short walk. The space You enter the property through a small lobby and straight into the living room which connects into the kitchen/dining area. The stairs lead off the living room up to a small landing. Bedroom 1 is at the back of the cottage overlooking the lake. Up two steps, is the shared bathroom and bedroom 2 which overlooks the front of the cottage towards Broad Street. There is access into the garden from the living room and the kitchen. The back garden gate leads you to the lake viewing area and the pub garden entrance. The basement is a private storage area. Guest access Guests will have access to the living room, kitchen, bedroom (s), bathroom and garden. Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom overlooking the lake. Bedroom 2 is available when 3/4 guests make a booking or when 2 single guests book, otherwise bedroom 2 will be unavailable. If the property is booked for more than 2 guests, there is a £30 surcharge per guest/per night. The log burner is in use from October to April only. Other things to note Throughout the year, The Globe hosts a few events which go on past 11pm. Most of these events are open to the public. They often have bands at these events and they are great fun. If you would like me to check whether there are any events on before you book, please ask. During the summer, a handful of late music events can be heard in bedroom 1, no later than midnight.
