Arco delle Apuane – Room 4/4 “Il Botton d'Oro”

The property has 4 bedrooms and has been recently renovated. It is located in front of the Apuan Alps, 30 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Versilia. The place is particularly suitable for those seeking the tranquility and coolness of the mountains, but also for those who love the sea and then, on their return, want to enjoy the view of the sunset-colored peaks that stretch out in an arc in front of our windows, or to have an aperitif at the nearby “La Ricciatella” restaurant. The space The Botton d'Oro is one of the 4 rooms in the Arco delle Apuane property and is located on the third floor. It is a bedroom with two single beds that can be converted into a double bed UPON REQUEST. It has a private bathroom, a walk-in closet, for a total size of about 16 square meters. The accommodation has a shared kitchen and dining area, to be used jointly with the other guests of the property. Guests are responsible for managing the kitchen independently; no groceries are provided. It is not possible to cook lunches or dinners, but only to prepare breakfasts, cold dishes, drinks or food for children or to heat ready-made meals following the rules that you will find at the property. It should be remembered from now that common spaces are suitable for socialization, but the utmost respect of other guests and the maintenance of appropriate and respectful behavior of cleanliness and hygiene is always necessary. Guest access The property is located at the beginning of the village of Volegno, where the municipal road ends, and you can easily drive up to the entrance of the property, which has a space for loading and unloading suitcases. It is possible to organize hikes along various trails that pass through the alpine pastures, where the valley's inhabitants once moved with their flocks to take advantage of the lush high-altitude grasslands. You can get to the Mosceta and Fania mountain huts, and for more experienced hikers, to some of the peaks of the Apuan Alps. You can reach other peaks with a short drive to nearby towns. A trail suitable for a short hike leads to the Acquapendente Waterfall, which is particularly beautiful when it is flowing abundantly, but always pleasant to look at. For beach lovers, the beaches of Versilia – Forte dei Marmi, Marina di Pietrasanta, Viareggio, and Cinquale – are a 30-minute drive away. Nearby, you can visit other charming places: the village of Levigliani, where you can explore the Antro del Corchia, Europe's largest cave, and the historic mines; the ancient village of Isola Santa, with its artificial lake; and, after another hour's drive, the Garfagnana region, with its picturesque villages, the characteristic artificial lakes of Gramolazzo and Vagli, the Campo Catino mountain pasture, the Orecchiella Nature Park, and the Grotta del Vento cave in Fornovolasco. With less time available, you can visit Pietrasanta, Camaiore, and Torre del Lago Puccini, where the Puccini Festival is held in August, as well as Lake Massaciuccoli and its nature reserve. From Querceta or Pietrasanta stations, you can take the train to the Ligurian coast and the picturesque villages of Cinque Terre. Also accessible, during the summer, by ferry from the Forte dei Marmi pier. If you set aside a full day, you can visit a number of cities of cultural and artistic interest, such as Lucca, Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Chianti, and the Tuscan Archipelago islands.
