On the edge of the Dahn land between the Southern Wine Route and Alsace our apartment Karola is in Fischbach a good starting point for hikes, climbing or biking. Directly in Fischbach you can visit the biosphere house and the tree top walk. There are also walking tours for half or full day designed to offer enough variety to children and youths. The nearby nature reserve Palatinate Woog (see cover photo) can be reached within a short walk. On the border with France to the nearby Alsace you can visit many castles and choose yourself if you arrive by car or want to use the well-developed bike paths.
