It's an easy, cosy retreat for Christmas and New Year - no stairs, no fuss. 🌸 Spring — Long, bright Nordic evenings, birdsong, and the Göta Canal reopening for the season, all before the summer crowds arrive. 🎣 Anglers, take note: Vänern is one of Europe's great fishing waters - pike, perch and zander from the shore or a boat, with no permit needed for sport fishing, plus salmon and trout out on the open lake year-round. (Please follow current local rules - salmon and trout are protected at the nearby Gullspång river mouth.) The location: You're within a flat, easy walk of everything: the Vänern shoreline (200m), the harbour and marina (250m), and the swimming beach and sunset point (300m). Restaurant 'Strand', Pizzeria Milano and Thai takeaway are close by, there's a convenience store 150m away (Swedish BankID needed to enter), and a full ICA supermarket in Gullspång, 6 km away. Guest access You'll have the entire house, garden and covered deck to yourselves. Self check-in is simple via smart lock - you'll get your personal code before arrival. Free on-site parking, and a washing machine + dryer is available for longer stays (just ask when you book).
