An old house in stone, in the countryside, a few kilometers from a pretty mountain village. The space The building is an antique farmhouse of 500 recently renovated, located in the heart of the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano. Beside the house, a luxuriant vegetable garden allows guests to gather and enjoy the fruits of a totally organic cultivation. The belvedere, adjacent to the olive grove, sheltered by a magnificent pergola of kiwi leaves, overlooks a spectacular wooded expanse, whose vision satisfies and relaxes. Guest access Access is allowed in all parts of the house, including the belvedere, the vegetable garden and the olive grove. Other things to note The farmhouse is located inside the farm and agritourism "Li Guira". For those staying in the farmhouse it will be possible to take advantage of all the activities offered by the agritourism (cooking classes, yoga classes, trekking activities on the park's paths, bike excursions, experiences). It can be especially interesting stay during certain special occasions celebrated in the village: - Fair of the Cross (September 1) The most important fair of Cliento, whose origin dates back to the Middle Ages, when monks Basilian Chapel of "Santa Maria della Croce" recalled pilgrims not only to visit the precious relic of the cross, brought on site at the behest of San Nile, but also to trade their products. - Feast of Saint Vitus (15 September) Introduced in 1887, it is a votive feast dedicated to the saint for protection from rabid dogs. - Feast of St. Paschal Baylon (May 17 and last Sunday of August) Feast of the patron, during which typical ceremonies and performances take place: the procession with the saint through the streets of the village, the musical band, concerts, fireworks. - Feast of Corpus Christi The SS. Sacrament is carried in procession through the streets of the village where, in appropriate corners, altars decorated with flowers of gorse, branches of ferns and "leafy branches" are set. At each altar there is a stop for the blessing of the people. - Chestnut Festival It takes place in November and allows you to taste local products (honey, cakes) made with chestnuts. - Festival of the poor dishes of Cilento (August 17 to 23) In it you can taste typical dishes of Cilento, prepared with simple products of the earth.
