Lake House

A Kurpie house with a soul, 50 m from Lake Kierwik (silence zone), located in the Puszcza Piska (Natura 2000). The house with regional interior design elements in an eclectic Masurian-Scandinavian style is fully equipped. A large plot with a jetty right next to the house, a Finnish sauna, a terrace overlooking the lake and forest, a two-storey cottage for children and a place for a bonfire with facilities. We have restored the house we offer in the Mazury and Scandinavian style and decorated it with furniture, paintings and local souvenirs that we have been collecting for years. It is a house where we ourselves spent a lot of free time with our four children, which is an ideal place to relax and chill out away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house has 3 bedrooms (a total of 8 beds), an additional bed for 1 person in the lower part of the house, 2 bathrooms, a living room with an open fireplace connected to a kitchenette and a dining room with direct access to the terrace. The bedrooms are bright and spacious. In the dining room there is a 300-year-old Danish table and a Masurian barrier. Modern kitchen with fridge-freezer, new dishwasher and new stove. We love to cook, so you will find literally everything you need in the kitchen. In addition, the house has a TV room with a DVD player (with lots of movies and board games), a pinball machine (unfortunately not working), an old Swedish rocking chair and an extra place to sleep on a wooden Masurian bed (bedroom 4). In the room next door there is a professional foosball table and a pre-war stove (goat). Next to it, there is an additional bathroom with a toilet, shower, washing machine and a Finnish sauna. On the plot, there is a red two-storey Swedish house for children, a "tree house", a swing for children, a rocking bench, hammocks, a place for a bonfire with a large table. There is a decent barbecue, 2 deckchairs, a double kayak (1 piece) and life jackets for children and adults. In Spychowo (2 km) there are several well-stocked grocery stores and a neo-Gothic church. The house is on the first shoreline with a beautiful view of the lake. From the cottage, you have to walk along a dirt road (50 meters) to the pier, which is also used by our neighbors. A few minutes from the house there is a small city beach with a gentle entrance to the lake for children.
