Private room in a family home - Trivandrum Renting a private room in our home - my family and I live here, so you get a genuine Kerala home experience. Great location: ✈️ Airport — 10 min 🚉 Railway Station — 3 km 🏖️ Kovalam Beach — 20 min 🖥️ Technopark — 20 min Trivandrum is ideal for remote workers — clean, well-connected, and far less hectic than most Indian cities. Restaurants, cafes, and markets are all close by. Long-stay guests are very welcome — message us before booking! The space Spacious double room with ensuite bathroom in our private family home. The living room, dining area, and two kitchens (on the ground floor, accessible to all) are shared spaces — we're happy to give you your space or be social, whatever suits you best. The home has WiFi, parking, AC, hot water, a dedicated workspace, and laundry access — everything you need for a comfortable long stay. Guest access You'll have full access to the room, living spaces, and kitchens. The home has two kitchens and two living areas — there's plenty of room for everyone. You'll be sharing the space with me and my parents (three of us in total). We're happy to mingle or give you your space, whatever you prefer. Other things to note Getting Around The easiest way to get around is by auto-rickshaw, which are readily available in the area. Ola, Uber and Rapido also work well in Trivandrum. We have a car and are happy to drop you along the way if it works out, but guests don't have access to it independently. Cafés & Workspaces If you prefer working outside the home, there are good cafés in Kovalam and around the city, all within a 20-minute drive. WiFi We have reliable, high-speed WiFi — suitable for video calls, remote work, and streaming without issues. Meals This is a self-catering stay with access to both kitchens, but we occasionally share home-cooked Kerala meals with our guests — one of the little perks of staying in a family home!
