Eureka House, circa 150 years old house situated on 6 acres of parkland. Located in the heritage town of Kells Co. Meath, Eureka House is less than an hour drive from Dublin City Centre, and 45 minutes from Dublin Airport. The space Eureka House is a country house with 5 private bedrooms currently available to guests. When staying in our private bedrooms, there is access to 2 shared full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, shared living areas and a communal kitchen/dining area. Guest access Free on-site parking for guests. Bus stop 200m walk from the premises, Bus Éireann 109 routes to Dublin hourly. Situated in the heart of Kells, Eureka House is within walking distance of many of Kells' amenities, including pubs/restaurants/takeaways, grocery shops, public library, to name a few. Kells Swimming Pool is a 3 minute walk from the premises. Headfort Golf Club is 1km from the premises. Kells Courthouse, Tourism and Culture Hub is located right across from the premises, have a look at the facsimile copy of The Book of Kells and pick up a copy of a Discover Boyne Valley brochure to learn more about the heritage town. Other things to note Eureka House was once home to the students of Eureka Secondary School from 1956-2019, and over the past year multiple renovations have been completed to transform the building from a school campus back to a Country House, updating the premises to reflect the changing times and styles, all the while keeping some traditional elements of the house intact. Eureka House has a newly added café on the premises, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, serving Lavazza coffee, tea and snacks.
