Fuel up before a day on the fells, then return with rosy cheeks and stories to tell. Cook side-by-side, pour the wine, and let the evening unfold slowly after a day spent exploring together. Bedroom A peaceful bedroom made for slowing down. The king-size bed, layered with crisp cotton and soft textures, invites you to sink in and let the day drift away. After windswept walks and wide-open views, slip beneath the covers, stretch out, and settle into the quiet. And when morning comes, linger a little longer — with your dog curled close, sharing the warmth and the moment. Bathroom A calm, soothing space designed for unwinding after full days outdoors. Run a deep bath, add the soak or Epsom salts, and let the warmth ease tired legs after long countryside walks. Other things to note A gentle note for our guests 💛 Borrans Cottage is a much-loved traditional cottage, full of character and charm. Because of its layout and original features, it isn’t suitable for babies or toddlers. We don’t provide baby equipment, and there are no child-specific safety features in place. For the same reason — with steps, uneven surfaces and the natural quirks of a period building — the cottage may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. We truly want every stay to feel safe, comfortable and completely relaxing.
