The space May Cottage is a tastefully renovated cottage on one level in a rural location close to the beautiful Suffolk coast, with contemporary furnishings throughout and a sunny rear patio garden area. This semi-detached, self-catering cottage is well laid out with the dining room at the heart and the kitchen leading off to one side and the living room to the other, with a hatch between the two. Because of the nature and age of the property there are some steps within the cottage, between some of the rooms. Rendham's traditional White Horse village pub, serving local beers and good food, is just steps from the cottage; the historic village church is across the road. Juniper Barn, 100 metres down the road, is a café kitchen serving home-made and locally sourced food with outside seating for all-day breakfasts, lunch and tea. It also sells store cupboard essentials and Suffolk foods, fresh fruit and vegetables. The cottage sleeps four. There are two bedrooms: bedroom 1 has a king sized bed and an ensuite bathroom, toilet & shower; bedroom 2 has a super king zip-and- link, which can be converted into two single beds. There is a separate shower room and WC. The cottage is ideal for couples and small families wanting to explore the Suffolk coastal areas and lovely surrounding countryside, with many walks to enjoy. Rendham is within easy reach of the picturesque seaside towns of Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Southwold and Orford and close to the market town of Framlingham. Other things to note We will be close by or at least available on our mobile number as we live in the village. There is off road parking for one car, or 2 by prior arrangement. Access to the cottage is by a digital code provided once you have booked. We are dog friendly but ask that you please provide dog beds/blankets for your pouches and kindly not allow them on the beds.
