Forest Edge Studio

It's just one step from our door onto the New Forest for nature and endless walks whilst the sparkling sea of the Solent shore is only one mile away. Our 'local' is the fabulous East End Arms and the market town of Lymington with its bustling Saturday market is 3 miles west. The well-appointed studio has it's own small enclosed garden within our garden and is a quiet haven, overlooking a small valley. (We are happy to accept well-behaved pets but by prior arrangement please). The space Our house is in a great position right opposite the open forest. You will walk past our house to get to the studio and we have made a small enclosed garden for our guests within our own garden. You will overlook the neighbouring fields and the bottom of our garden, home to my beloved vegetable patches. We have grown up children who may sometimes make an appearance but, like our dogs (Marley a lab cross staffy and Bonnie a cairn cross poodle) they are friendly! We will respect guests privacy but the studio is visible to the house and some of the garden as described and we may on occasions use the bottom of the garden when guests are in. We provide simple and good quality breakfast provisions, teas and fresh coffee, milk, yoghurt and cereals and encourage guests to sample the local eateries for other meals. The East End Arms (owned by the base guitarist from the legendary Dire Straits) is a short walk away and the Turfcutters is only a 5 minute drive. Lymington is 10 minutes and also has plenty to choose from. The studio has kettle, fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery etc - but not a full kitchen. There is a bath and shower in the bathroom. We provide towels as well as shampoo and conditioner and a hair dryer. (Please bring your own beach towels if planning to go to the beach). Guest access We will interact with guests on bookiing about how to access the studio.
