Martinské hole belong to the Malá Fatra National Park, which offers a wide range of natural, cultural and historical monuments and sights, which are the main attraction for domestic and foreign tourists. Turiec Region, with the altitude from 305 to 1709 meters, is due to its layout very suitable for holiday trips throughout the year. Guest access Transport instructions from/to Winter Park Martinky If you want to get to the top of Winter Park Martinky, located at the height of 1,240 m, with your car, you must follow instructions and rules of workers of the Winter Park Martinky ski centre. The road is only one-way, so you have to go up and down at specified times only. It is also necessary that vehicles are equipped with snow chains which you may use depending on instructions of ramp workers. We are asking visitors of the Winter Park Martinky to be extremely careful and tolerant when travelling on the road. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes, and it really doesn’t matter if it takes a minute or two more, so please follow the speed limit and do not drive up or down doing more than 30 km/hour. A higher speed may not be safer for you and for others on the road. Do not push other cars out of the road and maintain sufficient distances. Your potential collision with another car will not allow others to get to or out of the Winter Park Martinky, and instead of good skiing, you and others will have more troubles than pleasures. Thank you in advance for driving safely and responsibly! In the Winter Park Martinky ski centre using roads and parking are free of charge. The time schedule of traffic restrictions on the road to Martinské hole: you can only go up from 6 am to 12 am and from 6 pm to 12 pm you can only go down from 1 pm to 5 pm and from 1 am to 5 am.
