Artist's Cottage (Peaceful Staffordshire Retreat)

Min 4 nights. Perfect for adults/older kids seeking peace and quiet but with tons to do nearby and great motorway links further afield. Welcome basket on arrival. Well stocked pantry basics. Beautifully decorated: quirky but tasteful and very restful. All home comforts (please note small tv; terrestrial channels only). Two sun patios; and a real 'get away from it all' feeling. Well-behaved adults and pets welcome. One-off pet fee £15 per stay applies. The space 2 bedroom detached bungalow- one bedroom overlooking the garden. One king size bed. One double bed. (No option to sleep on sofas though!) 1 bathroom with bath and shower. Parking: My campervan may be on the drive but there is safe space for two cars just outside the property. It's a quiet cul de sac, not a busy road, and it's where I always leave my vehicle. Plenty of storage. All amenities available. Beautiful, sunny conservatory. Two sun areas outside: decking near the back of the house with table and chairs for al-fresco dining; and one rear landscaped patio, so there is sun all day long. 10 minute walk to village shops, pubs, curry houses and tea room. Wonderful country walks on the doorstep. Great choice for golfers (5 courses nearby). Also Fairlawns day spa; Cannock Chase; National Memorial Arboretum; Tamworth Castle; the cathedral city of Lichfield with Samuel Johnson House; Erasmus Darwin Museum; Lichfield Gaol etc. Also perfect for Shenstone; Aldridge; Walsall; Tamworth; Fradley; Alrewas; Barton-under-Needwood; Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham. Good transport links and near to M6/M5 for further attractions ie Drayton Manor; Trentham Gardens; Alton Towers and Cosford Air Museum . On the property you will find garden furniture - table, chairs, loungers and egg chair. Full house manual provided. Friendly, helpful host. Guest access There is a drive outside with a slight incline. However, it’s possible to park right outside the front door. There is a key safe outside for access in your own time 3pm onwards. Other things to note Pet Owners There are no highly-scented products in the house (air freshners/plug ins etc) so your animal will be ok. I also do not use any chemicals in the garden. Non-pet people Although I accept pets please don’t let this put you off booking if you are not an animal lover. The house is thoroughly cleaned on turnaround. You will be welcomed by an immaculate property with no trace of previous visitors. Electric Vehicles There is no charging point and it is not permitted to use the electric from the house to do so.
