Description
The Piggery is a two bedroom cottage in the quiet hamlet of Newsholme, East Yorkshire. Surrounded by the countryside it is an ideal location for walking and just chilling out. The nearest town of Howden is a 2 minute drive away with plenty of shops, pubs, bars and places to eat. There is also a train station with links to all major cities. We are ideally situated for days out to York, Beverly, Leeds and the East Yorkshire coast, all of which are a 40 to 60 minutes drive away . Ok The space There is room for parking two vehicles, but we do have more space if requested for extra parking. Upon entering the recently renovated cottage, there is a living / dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. This includes an electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave and air fryer. There is a dining table with seating for 6 people and a log burner. Two bedrooms each have a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. A travel cot is available upon request for a child up to 2 years. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet and wash basin. Outside there is a spacious seating area with a private garden and bbq. This would be ideal for a family of 4, plus an infant up to 2, or 4 adults. Guest access The day before your arrival you will be sent all the check in details. This will include a code for ‘Lock box 1’. Enter the code and collect the key fob for the gate and keys for the cottage. Follow the drive half way down and park on the left hand side next to The Piggery parking sign. We ask that you drive slowly whilst on our premises, as we have several horses. Other things to note There are many walks to do directly from our home, including the Howden 20. Information leaflets are available, but there is also a tourist information in Howden if you require further details. We also have another Airbnb at same location ‘La Petite Chevrerie’ which can be booked together if available for larger groups.
