The space This spacious, newly renovated private guest suite is located on the lower level of our Queenslander home and has its own secure entrance for complete independence during your stay. Inside you'll find a comfortable living and dining area, a stylish kitchenette, a large bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a modern ensuite bathroom. The living area includes a Smart TV where you can stream your own services, a selection of board games and books, and a comfortable sofa that converts into flexible sleeping options (king bed, elevated single, or two single beds). The brand new kitchenette is ideal for simple meals and includes a two-burner induction cooktop, microwave, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and pod coffee machine, along with basic cooking essentials. The bedroom offers a comfortable king bed and plenty of storage for longer stays. Additional amenities include air conditioning in both the bedroom and living area, basic toiletries, an iron and garment steamer. Our home is located in North Ipswich on a quiet residential street, just a short walk from Ipswich’s main shopping, dining and transport hubs. Within walking distance you’ll find the vibrant Nicholas Street Precinct, a growing dining and entertainment area with restaurants, cafés, bars, a cinema and family-friendly public spaces and events. Just nearby is Riverlink Shopping Centre for supermarkets, retail stores and everyday essentials. For guests visiting the hospital or travelling for work, Ipswich Hospital is just 1.5km away, or a short walk to access the free West Moreton Health shuttle service. Ipswich’s train station is about a 12-minute walk away, making it easy to travel to Brisbane or explore the region without needing a car. The area also offers plenty to see and do nearby. Popular local attractions include the historic Queens Park & Nature Centre, the fascinating Queensland Rail Museum, and the beautiful Kholo Gardens. A small local park is just a two-minute walk from the house, and the surrounding streets are quiet and leafy while still being conveniently close to the Ipswich CBD. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire guest suite via a separate entrance. The space is fully self-contained and closed off from the main house for your privacy. Free on-street parking is available directly outside on our quiet, wide residential street. Guests can easily walk to Ipswich CBD, Riverlink Shopping Centre, the Nicholas Street precinct, public transport and Ipswich Hospital shuttle. A bus stop is located at the end of the street and the train station is approximately a 12-minute walk away. Other things to note The guest suite is part of our family home, so you may occasionally hear normal household activity from upstairs, including our toddler or dog. The sofa in the living room can be converted into several sleeping configurations (king bed, elevated single, or two singles) if required for additional guests.
