The Barn - Wheatley - Oxford
The Barn - Wheatley - Oxford
Description
The Barn (built 1640) [thebarn-wheatley-oxford] is a beautiful detached two-bedroom stone building in Wheatley village, a bus trip to Oxford. Wheatley has local shops, restaurants, takeaways & pubs, a children's playground and beautiful country walks The space The barn has two upstairs bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There is also a lounge (with a monitor and DVD player, plus a selection of DVDs), a dining room, a kitchen, an upstairs family bathroom, and a downstairs toilet & utility room. We limit the barn to 4 guests Guest access The Barn is a detached building. The garden is shared with our house, and the garden, barn, and our house are safely enclosed by a stone wall & gates. So the garden is safe for small children, and nothing in the garden is off limits - guests are welcome to pick herbs or apples and cherries in season. There are also flood defences that need stepping over and a spiral staircase that may be difficult for people with compromised mobility. The spiral staircase is not safe for toddlers unless closely supervised, as we do not have stair guards Other things to note On-road parking is now restricted, but we will provide free permits for parking in any restricted areas whenever required. There are two time-restricted free car parks about 5 minutes walk from the barn.
