Chalet in Herselt

Welcome to chalet "De Rode Deur", my second home in nature. I like to share this charming stay with guests who love simplicity and tranquility. Basic but cozy, surrounded by nature reserve De Langdonken, close to Herselt and 15 minutes from Aarschot and Westerlo. There is a large, fully fenced garden at the chalet. An excellent place to really catch your breath, surrounded by many hiking trails. Recommended for nature lovers and peace seekers. The space Ground floor Living space – A cozy open space with sitting area and kitchen in one. The seating area invites you to relax with a book or a movie on TV. You can watch TV by connecting a computer to the screen. There is no cable provided. (WIFI is available) The kitchen is simple but fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. Windows provide views of the greenery around. Bedroom with bunk bed – A simple room downstairs with a bunk bed, ideal for 2 children or two adults. There is also a baby cot (travel bed) provided. Bathroom – A separate bathroom with shower in bathtub, sink and toilet. Compact but practically furnished. Upper floor (duplex) Chill room – On the open duplex you will find a cozy relaxation corner (mattress) overlooking the living room downstairs. Perfect for sitting quietly, reading or enjoying the surrounding nature. The best place to sit during cold winter evenings. Enclosed bedroom – A separate, enclosed bedroom with a double bed. Quietly located upstairs, so you can completely relax. Large garden - The red door has a large garden that is completely fenced. There is also a place where you can place covered bicycles. Next to and in front of the chalet are 2 carports, in total for 3 cars. I live half the time in the red door myself. Some cabinets contain personal belongings. There is still plenty of closet space reserved for guests. Guest access All the rooms in the chalet are accessible to guests. The garden shed is closed. There is a covered area where bicycles can be placed. Other things to note I'll give you my personal mobile number so you can keep in touch if you have any questions.
