Plumtree Cottage is a pretty Georgian cottage in Burnham Overy Staithe, Norfolk, which sleeps 6, available for holiday rental. It is a very short walk to the hard, sea views and then onwards to the beach or Scolt Head island which are beautiful all year round. The cottage is a spacious, well equipped, home from home, cosy out season with a Rayburn and an open fire as well as central heating and perfect for sunny holidays on the beach or messing about in the water. The space Plumtree Cottage is a spacious Georgian cottage sleeping six in the pretty coastal village of Burnham Overy Staithe, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a 2 minute stroll from the Norfolk Coast Path, and a short walk to beautiful beaches at Gun Hill, Holkham and the idyllic Scolt Head Island. Burnham Overy Staithe has easy access to nearby National Nature Reserves; Norfolk Wildlife Trust Reserves and an RSPB reserve. Bliss. Plumtree Cottage is just a 30 minute stroll from Burnham Market, a much loved classic brick-and-flint village, with independent shops, eateries and Georgian houses clustered around a broad central green. The cottage is a deceptively spacious pretty Georgian property which comfortably sleeps six in three light and spacious first floor bedrooms. With prior agreement, we welcome well-behaved dogs. Upstairs there is also a large family bathroom with airing cupboard and one en-suite shower room (There's a downstairs shower room and toilet too!). Storage is plentiful, with wardrobes and chests of drawers in all of the bedrooms. Each of the rooms are heated by radiators. Downstairs, the house has a living room, spacious hall, dining room, shower room with loo, utility and kitchen. It is cozy in all seasons, and is heated by a Rayburn stove, an open log fire as well as central heating. Plumtree Cottage is your home from home; it is tastefully furnished, has a well-stocked bookcase and boasts much local art and fabrics.
