The cottage is arranged entirely on the ground floor and benefits from convenient ramp access, making it easily accessible for guests. Entry is through a fully equipped contemporary kitchen where clean modern finishes meet the warmth of a thoughtfully designed cottage interior. The cosy living area provides a comfortable space to unwind after a day exploring the surrounding countryside. A striking framed print of Garendon Hall from 1790 hangs proudly in the room, depicting the estate prior to its Victorian remodelling. The artwork commemorates Thomas March Phillipps’ tenure as High Sheriff of Leicestershire and offers a fascinating glimpse into the region’s architectural past. Additional historic imagery of parkland follies adds to the room’s character, while the deep antique settee upholstered in rich Habsburg fabric brings a subtle regal charm. The spacious bedroom continues the cottage’s blend of comfort and heritage. The flexible zip and link bed can be arranged as either a luxurious king or twin beds to suit different stays.
