Converted two-storey dairy barn with view across the peaceful countryside The space Welcome to your cosy countryside retreat - designed for comfort, relaxation, and a little bit of everyday luxury. Please note, there is a step up into the property, followed by another step into the kitchen area. On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and an inviting living room. The new and plush sofa bed easily converts into a comfortable double bed. For an extra fee, 2 guests can be accommodated in here but we recommend it is only suitable for children (willing to share!) The living area also features a dining table for four, a smart TV (42") with full app access, and double doors that open onto a private patio with an outdoor table for two - perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need, including a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with a small integrated freezer, sink, and even a radio for a bit of background music while you cook. Upstairs, the space opens up into a peaceful bedroom and workspace. There is a new double bed, full-length wardrobes, and a second smart TV (32") with all the usual apps. A spacious desk area offers the ideal setup for focused work, with beautiful and secluded views across the garden and open countryside. At the opposite end of the room are double doors which open into a Juliette balcony. A comfortable wing chair completes the room - perfect for reading or unwinding at the end of the day. A simple, comfortable stay with everything you need to feel at home. Within Great Horwood, you will find a super pub, The Swan; just a 10 minute walk. There is also a church, a well-equipped play park and great countryside walks. Winslow and all of its amenities is 2 miles away, Buckingham is 6 miles and Milton Keynes is 9.5 miles away. Interesting nearby locations: Winslow is the local market town (3m) with a fabulous deli, pubs and shops Silverstone Circuit (14.4m) Stowe House & Gardens (National Trust) (9.5m) Bletchley Park (7m) Waddesdon Manor (15m) Bicester Village (18m) Milton Keynes is only 20 minutes drive, with a multiplex cinema, restaurants and snow zone. If you want to go to London, there are regular fast trains from Bletchley or Milton Keynes. We can also recommend some good gastro pubs in the nearby vicinity! Guest access The entire unit of bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen & living room - plus use of garden/patio (the spacious garden is shared with us in our own house). Other things to note There are two steps into the property, and you will then be on the ground floor (kitchen, bathroom, living room, (with sofa bed). The annex is in our garden, which means you may see us around as we will share the garden. We have a friendly dog who we will keep away from you unless you wish to say hello to her! Bed linen and towels: I wash at 60 degrees using non-bio detergent. I don’t use scent boosters or artificial softeners; they’re not great for allergies or the environment. I also use white vinegar as a fabric softener.
