The space Welcome to Ash Cottage and Mango Cottage, two beautifully designed, self-contained one-bedroom cottages nestled on our peaceful 10-hectare farm in Hazyview. Each cottage is private, spacious, and thoughtfully styled with luxurious touches, perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking a serene escape. Both cottages feature open-plan living areas filled with natural light, king-size beds with premium linen, en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens (including an air fryer), air-conditioning, fans, heaters for cooler evenings, and complimentary Wi-Fi and DSTV. Each has its own walled garden, covered stoep, and braai area—the perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner while soaking in breathtaking views over the Sabie Valley. Outside, your private space invites you to unwind, dine al fresco, or simply take in the peaceful farm surroundings. Our property is fully fenced with secure parking and gated access for each cottage. We are a working farm, so expect a gentle start to your day with the quiet hum of morning activity. We grow our own vegetables, and when in season, fresh produce is available. You’re also welcome to join in on farm life—feed the horses, and chickens, or collect fresh eggs from our chickens. Our two friendly resident horses roam freely and are always happy to say hello (especially if you have a carrot!). For families, we can provide a child’s guest bed in the bedroom for a small additional fee (R150/night, payable on arrival). Please let us know in advance if you'd like this option. We also have three additional two-bedroom cottages on the farm—Marula, Matumi, and Kiaat Cottages— and our Deluxe two bedroom cottage with a private plunge pool. Guest access Each of our one-bedroom cottages is fully self-contained with its own private fenced garden and gated entrance. Upon arrival, you'll receive your own set of keys and remote, giving you complete freedom to come and go as you please—both through the main farm gate and your cottage gate. Guests are welcome to explore the entire farm, where you can meet our friendly free-roaming horses, chickens, Ducks, Impala, Nyala, and Blesbok or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Whether you prefer total privacy or want to experience a bit of farm life, the choice is yours! Other things to note We offer convenient Meal Packs (at an additional cost), which can be placed in your cottage before arrival—ideal for late check-ins or guests who prefer a relaxed evening in without heading to the shops or restaurants. Housekeeping services are available at R250/day, and laundry at R200/load—simply let us know if you'd like to arrange either during your stay. Please note: Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages, but you’re welcome to smoke outside. Ashtrays are provided in your private outdoor space. For your peace of mind, all cottages are secured with electric fencing and gated access, and the main entrance to the farm is also controlled by an electric gate.
