The village location is close to 3 gastro pubs & some of the best bird watching in the country just a 10min walk from the wetlands of Oare marshes, and the Swale estuary with Harty ferry costal paths. The space The apartment is a self contained 1st floor converted attic space with bistro balcony, with creek & marina views. It is suitable for maximum of 2 guests with 1 x comfortable king size bed. The property was created in 2025 and meets the insulation requirements of current regulations, the windows & doors are double glazed for your comfort in extreme cold and hot weather. The property carries an alpine lodge theme with decorative rustic wooden balustrade replicating alpine lodge theme, the interior space is fresh & quirky with an open plan studio feel , bathroom with a walk in shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail, a well equipped kitchen with build in oven and gas hob, washing machine, fridge freezer, moka coffee pot, with tea, coffee, sugar & milk in place to start your stay. The living area has a tv with built in dvd player and films for your use and enjoyment, free wifi, comfortable sofa with a bookshelf and selection of reading material. The property has free off street parking and is within close walking distance to 3 lovely local gastro pubs & the creek side marina cafe, only a 3 minute walk away. Faversham hosts a fantastic live music scene, with the likes of sir Bob Geldof priory home less than a 10minute walk away, many local pubs host live music on various evenings the real Faversham gig guide has a full up to date programme of who is playing and where. The Faversham hop festival Aug/sept weekend is a must if you are into your live music / beer festivals. The property also offers a dedicated band rehearsal facilities (the host is a musician) and is equipped with a full back line & PA and electronic or acoustic drum kit. Available at additional cost. There are plenty of things to do while you stay, we are a short walk from the Oare marshes, nature reserve, managed by Kent wild life trust, hosting a large variation birds and wild foul, and visiting birds. There is also the gun powder works, a lovely county park walk through the heritage site and nature reserve of the once Oare gun powder works , recalling the history of the production of gun powder in the village some 150 years ago. Faversham is the home of the UK’s oldest brewery, Shepherd Neeme, and has a brewery walk tour, and lots of fantastic gastro pubs, Favershams market is a must see, and antique fair the1st Sunday of each month, markets are on Tuesday, Friday & Saturday. Faversham also has a historic cinema in the market square.
