Gorgeously decorated - two super comfy double bedrooms, kitchen (microcombi, dw, counter top induction hob) linking to dining, sitting, smart TV, books, games, stunning views, terrace overlooking garden. Local walking, cycling, 5 mins car to pub, large driveway, friendly hosts, breakfast and extras available on request, welcome basket with milk, yoghurt, eggs, tea etc. The space Bakers Annex is located next to our family home, with a connecting hallway. It has its own front door. You will have exclusive use of the annex. The annex has a private patio space that overlooks part of our garden and the green fields beyond. We will leave you to enjoy the privacy of your outdoor space. The name of the property comes from the bakery ovens in one of the bedrooms of the annex, where the heritage of this historical home has been carefully preserved. We have a small family dog who is super friendly and also happens to be to have hypoallergenic non-shedding fur. He is not allowed into the annex but you might see him as you come and go. Obviously, if you are not a dog person, we will keep him well away! We look forward to welcoming you to this quiet countryside retreat. Please let us know if you have any questions. Guest access You have your own front door, and exclusive use of the whole annex. Your front door opens onto an internal hallway that connects our family property with the annex. There is an internal connecting door which we will keep locked. The library just inside your front door is a family library. You are welcome to read the books during your stay, but please do not take anything away. You have a private patio space that overlooks our family garden and the green fields beyond. Other things to note You need a car to stay at our property. We live in a hamlet. The nearest shop is the farm shop in Stagsden Village, a two minute drive. There is a mini supermarket in Bromham, a five minute drive. There are large supermarkets in nearby Great Denham and Kempston and Bedford. We have lots of parking on the driveway. We have an EV charger that you can use if you cover the costs. Speak to us for details. We have neighbours on one side of our property. We need to respect their privacy and not have late night noisy parties. There are plenty of country walks straight from your front door for you to enjoy. If you’re arriving by train, it’s an easy taxi ride from Bedford.
