Live differently for a few days. The Lehmstübchen guest house is one of two retreats on our historic half-timbered farm. A place for people who consciously want to take a few days for themselves. Time to take a deep breath. Time for each other. Time to leave everyday life behind you. Part of this break is two hours of sauna every day in your private sauna house, Tauko – to enjoy the soothing warmth, leave everyday life behind you and recharge your batteries. The space A place with character. Old wooden beams, an open gallery, an unusual wooden bridge and comfortable living make the Lehmstübchen a special place. A house for those who appreciate architecture, atmosphere and the history of historic buildings. Tauko – Finnish for break. Our private sauna house Tauko is part of your stay every day – two hours of sauna exclusively for you. Tauko means “break” in Finnish. And that's exactly what this place is supposed to be. The warmth of the sauna, the large rain shower, and the cozy relaxation area provide a sense of security and invite you to slow down for a while. You can choose your sauna time freely within the opening hours (10 am - 9 pm, simple advance registration). Everything you find here has a reason. We believe that hospitality starts with the little things. That's why we personally prepare our houses before each arrival. Fresh flowers on the table, a well-equipped kitchen and two houses that are prepared with great care – because we believe that appreciation starts right there. In the middle of nature. Our timber-framed farm is in the middle of the vast landscape of Lower Saxony. All around you will find historic buildings, centuries-old trees, moorland landscapes and the idyll of another time. A place that doesn't invite you to plan everything out, but rather to just let the day unfold. In addition, unlimited showers can also be taken free of charge in the sauna house outside of sauna hours (during opening hours). In the Lehmstübchen, we deliberately do not allow pets so that allergy sufferers can also enjoy the special atmosphere. Bed linens, towels and sauna towels can be booked as an option upon request.
