Boasting a wealth of original features - exposed beams, stone fireplaces and alcoves to snuggle by, all complimented by a well established cottage garden, flag stone patio and covered outdoor seating area. Many guests have complimented on the cosiness of the cottage, and how well equipped it is, however those of certain stature should watch-out for a couple of low beams and some steep stairs. The local shops include convenience store, chemists and book shop/general stores are all within a very short walk as is the White Lion family dining pub. The Buddle Inn, which is a15/20 minute walk is very characterful with a lovely sunny garden enjoying views of the sea. Niton is surrounded by picturesque countryside and provides an excellent base for walking and cycling. Close by are St Catherines Lighthouse, Niton Undercliff; an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Blackgang Chine Theme Park. Ventnor is the nearest seaside town and for an amazing uncommercialised beach Compton Bay along the Military Road, popular with surfers and paddle boarders, is must.
