Cairnhill Lodge: Award-Winning Highland Retreat

Nestled on the southern fringes of the Cairngorms National Park is where you'll find Cairnhill Lodge - an award-winning, beautiful and tastefully designed timber lodge furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The lodge enjoys a tranquil highland setting surrounded by forest, moors and lochs, which quickly give way to high mountains to the north. It is generously proportioned for four people with decor that is Scottish-Alpine in character: being both modern and homely. The space Cairnhill Lodge has space to accommodate a couple, a group of friends, or a family in luxurious surroundings. On arrival you will be personally greeted and shown around the lodge to familiarise yourself with its key features. The main door leads into the spacious utility room equipped with cleaning and drying facilities. You then enter into the sizeable, well-appointed open-plan kitchen and living area where you can enjoy a sociable meal at the dining table and then a cosy night by the log burning stove. A separate small office, complete with study desk and chair, is well-stocked with books, board games and DVDs, and is somewhere you can plan your next day’s activities. Each of the two substantial bedrooms, 'Islay' with a kingsize bed and 'Jura' with twin beds, has a large wardrobe and dressing table. The bathroom is impressively sized and has both a bath and separate double shower. Novel artwork is spread throughout the lodge. Outside, there is a private eating area with access to a BBQ. In addition, the decked area at the front has a patio dining suite and in-built lighting to give a relaxing ambiance to evening alfresco dining. A large secure storage shed is also provided for your use to store outdoor equipment and private parking for several vehicles is available adjacent to the lodge. Guest access The entire lodge is available for use by guests. The shed opposite the lodge can be used by guests for storing outdoor equipment. It is a shared facility with the owners but is adequately separated. Other things to note The lodge caters for a maximum of 4 guests ensuring plenty of space to enjoy your stay. Please note that an infant is considered to be 1 guest. Oil and electricity for heating and lighting the lodge is included in the price. However, charging electric vehicles is not included.
