A strategic location for those who love hiking and cycling, as it lies directly on the Stringher-Tacoli Trail (16 km through woods and breathtaking scenery) and is a gateway to the Alpe Adria Cycle Route from the Alps to the sea – and the Pianure Cycle Route The space This cosy and well-maintained room is situated on the second floor of the farmhouse in a very peaceful setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and is ideal for all types of travellers. It retains the historic charm typical of the Friuli hills, thanks to a very recent restoration project that has successfully integrated modern comforts into an authentic setting; the original wooden beams lend the room a warm and bright atmosphere. It features a bathroom with great attention to detail, high-quality finishes and a spacious shower cubicle, complete with toiletries including shampoo, shower gel, a hairdryer and a Queen-Size bed, with the option of having two single beds. There is also a comfortable sofa bed, which can be converted into two further single beds. There are also various bespoke storage compartments to accommodate all your personal belongings, including suitcases. As well as towels of various sizes, you’ll find bed linen, blankets, duvets, two sets of pillows of different softness levels, a cot, air conditioning, a Smart TV, a fridge, a kettle and Wi-Fi – everything you need to make your stay perfect. There are also communal areas at your disposal: On the first floor, the kitchen is available for guests’ use. Breakfast is included, featuring a selection of sweet and savoury packaged items, coffee and hot drinks on a self-service basis. The kitchen is also available for you to prepare your own meals. This space is furnished with restored pieces typical of the ‘arte povera’ style of Friuli, combined with modern and functional appliances: induction hob, microwave, fridge with a small freezer compartment, dishwasher and coffee machine. On the ground floor, you’ll find a room featuring the traditional Friulian ‘Fogolàr’, an ancient hearth that was not only a source of heat but the heart of the home, where people once cooked and shared evening stories; here, you can spend some time reading a book and enjoying a moment of relaxation in the authentic atmosphere of traditional Friulian homes. The garden, bordered by a centuries-old stone wall, is the ideal spot for al fresco breakfasts or for relaxing in the sun. Under the pergola, sheltered by a very old vine, you’ll find a charming shaded spot for reading, al fresco dining or resting amidst the silence of the countryside. For e-bike enthusiasts, we have dedicated charging points so you can start each day with maximum range. Finally, the property also offers a laundry area with a washing machine and tumble dryer, an ironing board and iron, and a clothes horse, all available for guests’ use.
