Guest access Whole site use Other things to note Site Rules and Safety / Information 1)No Dogs allowed. 2)Parents / Guardians are expected to supervise children at all times. 3)Willow Lake Retreat is surrounded by ponds and small lakes. Children are the responsibility of Parents / Guardians. 4)The large campfire area and wood burning stove (in yurt) if lit, will be expected to be attended to at all times. Please be aware that the wood burner flue pipe will get extremely hot at times, parents are advised to be extremely cautious in supervising children around the flue - please do not touch! 5) We are a Glamping / fishing retreat promoting relaxation in the countryside, we do not allow amplified music or noisy parties. Music can be played at a respectable level and has to be turned to a minimum at 8pm. 6)Our aim is to make your stay enjoyable, in a rural setting but, we cannot be held responsible for accidents or consequential loss or theft or damage to your belongings. 7)Please do not bring your own candles, tea lights will be provided with lanterns, paraffin lanterns are not permitted. Please bring a battery operated torch for use when walking to the toilets as there is no lighting except for solar lights. 8)Soft, clean shoes or slippers are required for the yurt interior, stiletto shoes and outdoor shoes are not permitted. 9)Strictly no smoking policy in the yurt. 10)One basket of logs & kindling will be provided for the log burner. 11)We do not provide duvets and pillows. We provide bottom bed sheets only. You are required to bring your own. 12)All arrivals after 1:00pm on the day of arrival and 10:30am on the day of departure unless otherwise stated. 13) The yurt cabins do not have electricity in them, plug socket with extension lead is situated in the cooking shack for charging phones etc. 14) The cooking 'shack' is fully equipped with a gas hob, cooking utensils, cutlery, fridge etc. The wash up area is equipped with cleaning products / tea towels etc. We provide hand towels / wash / toilet roll in the toilets. Please bring your own shower / hot tub towels. 15) We advise you to bring your own bottled drinking water as the water tap is an outside tap within the wash up shack. 16) WIND – due to the high winds we experience, we advise you to please keep both yurt doors always closed when windy. Please take extra care when opening doors due to wind gusts. If a door comes off or breaks during your stay, we will struggle to repair it on the day so therefore the stay would be cancelled with no refund due to damages. 17) Any damages or breakages you will be held responsible for. 18) Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations more than four weeks in advance will be offered the choice of another date to book. If no dates suit, we will advertise your dates as a cancellation and refund you the value of your deposit if the dates are resold. If they don’t sell you still have the option to re book a different date. HOT TUB 1) Shower before use, ensuring feet are free from dirt / grass and skin free from moisturisers, makeup, tanning products. These products can have a significant impact on the filter system efficiency, causing cloudy murky water. 2) Plastic cups if drinking beverages. 3) Secure cover every night after use and turn the water temperature down. 4) Do not sit on filter cover. 5) Children must be supervised at all times; it is not advisable for children under the age of 10 to use a hot tub due to the high temperature. 6) It is advisable to sip water when using the hot tub due to the high temperature. 7) Long hair must be tied back with a secure bobble. 8) Hot tub use is at your own risk. 9) Please do not sit on the Hot tub cover.
