If you're not looking for a sterile, luxury new-build for your vacation, but rather for genuine Bavarian coziness with character, then you've come to the right place! Our 71-square-meter apartment exudes an authentic, quaint retro charm, while at the same time offering you features that are rarely found at Lake Walchen. There is plenty of space here for romantic getaways for two, but also for convivial gatherings with family and friends (up to 9 people). ✨ Your private highlights 🧖‍♀️ Your own wellness sauna: your ultimate ace in the hole! After a strenuous hike up Herzogstand or on chilly days, there is nothing better than unwinding in your own sauna right in the accommodation. 🌳 The huge private garden: Not a small balcony, but a truly spacious green area! Perfect for morning coffee in the sun, for relaxing on the lawn, or as a safe place for the children to play. 🏔️ The view: You have a direct view of the stunning Alpine panorama and can feel close to nature. 🛋️ This is how you will live and sleep (the layout) Our apartment has a clever layout and offers an extremely large amount of open space thanks to the two living areas: 2 cozy bedrooms: Furnished with comfortable beds for peaceful, restful nights after plenty of fresh mountain air. 2 separate living rooms: This is where rustic coziness meets plenty of space! Perfect for sitting together in the evenings, playing games, or reading a good book. (For larger groups of 5 or more, the living rooms can be converted into additional sleeping areas thanks to comfortable sofa bed options.) The kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you need to cater for yourself – from a quick breakfast to a big dinner with the whole group. The bathroom: The apartment features a compact, functional bathroom with shower & bathtub/toilet. (Transparent note for large groups: As there is only one bathroom, for an occupancy of 8 or 9 people, we recommend a bit of Bavarian composure and coordination in the morning!) 😉 📍 The perfect location on Lake Walchen You benefit from an absolutely quiet location and yet you are right in the middle of the action. You can actually leave the car right there after you arrive: To the lake: In a leisurely 10-minute walk, you can comfortably reach the shores of the turquoise-blue Walchensee. Activities: Fantastic hiking trails, mountain bike routes, and beautiful natural surroundings start practically right outside the front door. Whether you're a couple looking for peace and quiet or want to conquer the mountains with the whole gang, we've put a lot of love and care into preparing the apartment so that you'll feel right at home.
