Trails start directly from the cottage, leading through heathlands and forests to the river or to the nearby Abbey of Notre-Dame des Neiges. The nearest train station is La Bastide-Puylaurent, a village 20 minutes away. Lakes, picturesque villages, outdoor activities, inns, restaurants, markets, and shops are all within easy reach. The cottage is built with eco-friendly materials. This former farmhouse, with its thick stone walls, stays pleasantly cool in summer. It features a living room with lounge area and integrated kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed, a low mezzanine with two modular single beds (accessed by a steep staircase, not recommended for young children or guests with reduced mobility), and a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. You will enjoy a private terrace and access to a garden area. A shared laundry room with washing machine and dryer is available. Parking is at the entrance of the cottage in the hamlet square, and a secure motorcycle garage is provided. A second cottage can be rented for family or group stays (up to 8 guests), with access to a large independent room and a fully equipped kitchen.
