Ardbeg House B&B in beautiful area NC 500 (Room 1)

We are just off the North Coast 500 route at Rhiconich, between Scourie and Durness, 4 miles from the fishing village of Kinlochbervie. We are surrounded by hills, mountains, rivers and lochs and only a ten to twenty minute drive from amazing beaches. The house is a 2 hour drive from Inverness and 1hr15 from Ullapool not allowing for photo stops! Breakfasts are freshly cooked and home baking awaits your arrival.Ideally located for exploring the north west corner of Scotland. The space Room 1 has a king sized bed with ensuite shower room. We are ideally situated for walking, fishing and water based breaks. Guided walks and fishing available by arrangement. Fishing permits for local lochs and rivers ( salmon and trout) can be arranged as can the hire of equipment and fishing tackle. You can walk out directly from the house and the long distance walk goes almost past our door. There is direct access from the house to the loch for canoes. We are a ten to twenty minute drive from stunning beaches. There is a good choice of restaurants within a 30 minute drive, transport can be organised by prior arrangement. Exploring the North Coast 500 route has to be one of the most scenic drives and our house is in a super stopover spot. Guest access There is a guest lounge with TV, DVD and coffee maker and guests are welcome to use the garden. Parking is directly in front of the house. Rooms have a hairdryer, teas and coffee and a range of glasses( mostly because when we go to B&Bs we prefer long glasses!)We keep a range of products in case you forget anything or run out en route just ask. We also have two other rooms, Room 2 also has a king sized bed with ensuite shower room and Room 3 has twin beds and also an ensuite shower room Other things to note Some of the roads around us are single track but don't let that put you off as there are lots of passing places as you drive through some of the most stunning scenery. Feel free to contact us for directions we often find that the journey times on the internet aren't accurate. We are about a two hour drive from Inverness and one hour twenty from Ullapool not allowing for photo stops!
