The space The Space This newly renovated, light-filled house accommodates up to 10 guests (7 - 8 adults comfortably plus kids) across three bedrooms, a loft, and a spacious living area. The open-plan living room, kitchen, and dining area form a bright, social hub with a panoramic window framing beautiful lake views — perfect for relaxing, working, or sharing meals together. The house is made with appreciation for natural materials throughout - oak parquet and solid oak floors or ceramic tiles. The kitchen has countertops of highest quality Italian black granite and a three meter massive oak hand made bar counter. Sleeping arrangements - Bedroom 1: Comfortable continental double bed (160 cm) - Bedroom 2: Two 90-cm single beds - Bedroom 3: Two 90-cm single beds - Loft: One 80-cm bed that can be joined to a 160-cm bed (ideal for an adult and child) plus a sofa bed for two (160 cm) Sheets and towels are included in the price. We strive to make the beds before guests arrive, but if previous guests have checked out on the same day, guests may need to make the beds themselves. This is to minimize the time between check-out and check-in. The loft is a cozy, relaxing nook with stunning lake views, also great as a comfortable workspace. Walking trails start just around the corner, and less than 100 meters away lies the shared jetty where you can borrow a canoe, swim, or fish in the calm lake. A small, child-friendly beach is only a few minutes’ walk away. The house is an ideal base for exploring Sörmland’s picturesque natural and cultural landscape — over 1,000 km of prepared hiking trails, countless lakes, and historic castles like the splendid Stora Sundby Castle (less than 30 km away). In winter, the region offers excellent ice skating; in summer, canoeing and swimming take center stage. Stockholm is just 120 km away for a day trip.
