Double Room at Guest House Öyegården

Öyegården is a guest house dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, when nice ladies from Sundsvall came by horse and carriage to get some rest from the stress in town. Over the years, Öyegården has had various types of activities, all of which have been in line with health and recovery. Today, Öyegården is a guest house which, in addition to accommodation, also offers events about health, nature and culture. The space Öyegården consists of the beautiful main building, the large annexe and the cute barbecue cottage. There is also a lovely sea perfect for a swim. During World War II, Öyegården was a hiding place for over 900 people from the Norwegian resistance movement. There is still a trench left in the forest behind the yard, where they practiced shooting with wooden sticks.
