Idyllic Finnish hut in the forest: vacation with friends

Vacation and relaxation, where Lusatia is most beautiful and where the fox and rabbit say good night. In the immediate vicinity of Lake Quitzdorf - Saxony's largest reservoir - is our idyllic Finnish cottage. Surrounded by huge trees on a large plot (~1,000 square meters) with direct access to the forest, you will find enough space to breathe in peace. The space Our Finnish cottage consists on the first floor of a cozy living/dining area with natural stone wall and pass-through to the kitchen. Here you will find everything you need, even if the kitchen is not suitable for a classic three-course menu due to its size. Amenities include a combination microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, two electric hotplates (induction) and of course plenty of dishes and cutlery. In addition, there is a small bathroom on the first floor, which awaits you freshly renovated and modernized: In addition to a modern hanging toilet and a hand washbasin, there is a walk-in shower in a stylish design. The hot water supply is ensured by an electric boiler. Upstairs are two sleeping areas: one with two single beds, one with a large double bed. Due to the sloping roof, which is noticeable everywhere, there is no door in front of the sleeping areas. Due to sufficient space in the living area, 6 people can also be accommodated if necessary. For this purpose, we provide an air bed with a manual pump. Of course, there are plenty of duvets and pillows. Overall, the Finnish hut is intended for nature-loving, down-to-earth vacations in nature. There is no gigantic wellness oasis or huge space for dancing (indoors - but there is enough space outside). But if you want to relax or do sports, for example, this is the place to be! If it is unavoidable to do some work: We have a monitor (22 inches, HDMI, VGA), a keyboard and a mouse ready for you (please simply specify when booking). This makes it much more comfortable than just working on a notebook. You just have to bring the Internet... Guest access The entire property is at your disposal for your exclusive use. You can park your car right next to the Finnhütte. However, our idyll is not accessible by public transport (or only with great effort). Other things to note We make our Finnish cottage idyll available under the motto "vacation with friends." In addition to a friendly "you" and a relaxed coexistence, this includes numerous inclusive services: Bed linens, hand towels and dish towels are just as much a part of our home as shampoo and shower gel. In addition, our two mountain bikes (26-inch women's; 28-inch men's) are welcome to be used. The same applies to the playhouse with sufficient inventory and play options. For babies and toddlers, we provide a crib and high chair free of charge. Larger children can easily climb the stairs to the upper floor. However, this is only suitable for small children and older children, as it is very steep. Since there is no door gate or the like, toddlers must not play upstairs unattended. Stick bread can be wonderfully prepared over the fire pit or the charcoal grill (if the forest fire level allows it); both are of course available to you. In the off-season, electric heaters can be used for heating. This way you don't have to freeze, even if the heaters are not allowed to run continuously. Naturally, Finnish huts of this type are primarily intended for warmer months.
