Cretingham, on the River Debden, is 1.5 miles away and has a lovely traditional Suffolk pub serving home-cooked food and with a cosy open fire. The space Visit Woodbridge, known for its boutique shops, galleries and restaurants. If you want to stay outside, walk the Deben Estuary Coast Path or take a cruise on the river before visiting the Anglo-Saxon burial sites at the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo. Both attractions are within 15 miles of the property. Alternatively, drive less than 20 miles to spend a fun day in the traditional seaside towns of Aldeburgh, with its shingle beach, or Southwold, with its superb sandy beach. Relax and unwind in this characterful property, which is accessed via a steep, external wooden staircase. Step inside this studio-style space and take in the charming, strikingly beautiful exposed wooden beams against the whitewashed walls.
