Pleasant house with balcony, courtyard and grounds outside, breathtaking views of the Aire valley in the heart of the Argonne and its forest. The house is located in a small charming village, where there is an 18th century castle and a Cistercian abbey. Many walks are possible, such as Sergeant York's historic circuit (4km) and the possibility of walking and cycling on forest roads. 18 min away, Parc Animalier, Olizy 44 minutes away, historic sites, Verdun The space The entrance to the home looks straight onto a spacious kitchen. A small corridor serves bathroom (shower and sink) and toilet and allows access to the basement and the outdoor courtyard where one can settle down to eat. Then, from the living room, there is the possibility to access the floor by a slightly sloping staircase or to exit on a small balcony with valley views. Upstairs there is one bedroom with double bed and one attic bedroom with two single beds. Other things to note As far as cleaning is concerned, you are asked to take the necessary steps before leaving the premises. Cleaning products are located in the kitchen sink cabinet and in the stairs downstairs in the basement (vacuum cleaner in the living room cabinet). The minimum of tidy dishes and a clean floor would be nice for your host. Thank you in advance. For rooms, you can choose to bring fitted sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers. If you wish, the beds can be prepared upon your arrival: €7.50 for the double bed €5 per single bed. (to be paid on-site on the day of arrival) Please specify this at the time of booking.
