Modalen, where the fiord begins

Welcome in our house in Modalen, the most charming and beautiful place in the north of Hordaland, where the fiord begins. We live in Modalen but during the summer we want to share with you quiet and peaceful place and give you the opportunity to explore the nature close by. During the stay you will be able to use the swimming pool, bowling hall, gym and sauna. Everything just around the corner. You can also rent a bikes, kayaks and motor boat (snekke) from us. Other things to note Nearby you can find a lots of hiking trails such as Otterstadstølen, Slottet, Nedstavatnet, Øvstavatnet, Skavlabu to discover waterfalls, post glacial lakes and fields of blueberries during the autumn. The views from the top are breathtaking. The valley offers also bike routes and unforgettable views.
