To get to our chicken coop- feed our poultry- and/or garden, we have to go to the end of the lawn of our cottage while respecting the privacy of the lodgers as much as possible. It is in the middle of the surrounding countryside of the historic town of Tournai, on the grounds of their property inspired by the houses of masters and French gardens that this newly landscaped cottage is nestled. Peace and quiet and cozy atmosphere guaranteed. The location of the listing combines easy access and proximity to amenities: 10 km from Tournai 30 km from Lille and Valenciennes 2 min. walk to a direct bus line stop to/from Tournai Station 2 min. drive to supermarket possibility of internet access in the main residence or in the orangery . If you want to stretch your legs, the village of Rumes has a circuit of agricultural trails suitable for walking, cycling, or running. We put our reserve of wood at your disposal free of charge for the wood fire, please empty it, clean after use. Guest access You can enjoy our outdoor hot tub for a fee of 20 euros, per day of use, covering maintenance and electricity costs. To be specified when booking. Three restaurants are located in the heart of the village(1 km from the cottage). A convenience store is 800 m away, a large area ( intermarket )is 1 km. We do not serve breakfast. However ,we provide hosts with a percolator ,an espresso machine of the KRUPS brand working with dolce gusto pods, an electric kettle as well as a toaster and a microwave . Before leaving the premises , we ask hosts to place dirty sheets and towels on the kitchen floor, sort their trash and place their garbage bags under the side awning, clean the stove. When using the hot tub, the lodgers will take care not to change the initial temperature and not to eat in the hot tub. Since the toilet is equipped with a grinder, it is forbidden to throw tampons and /or sanitary towels.
