La Moutonnerie gîte

Small quiet house in the countryside with jacuzzi 10 km from Tournai. We ask 20.00 euros per day of use, - to be paid in cash on site - located 3 m from the vacation rental. For your comfort, provide bathrobes. Furnished, cozy cottage. The bedroom is upstairs with a staircase without a railing. To get to our henhouse - to feed our poultry - and/or garden, we have to go to the end of the lawn of our gîte while respecting the privacy of the tenants. The space Michelle and Yves welcome you to La Moutonnerie. It is in the middle of the surrounding countryside of the historic town of Tournai, on the grounds of their property inspired by the houses of masters and French gardens that this newly furnished gîte is nestled. Quiet and cozy atmosphere guaranteed. The location of the accommodation combines ease of access and proximity to amenities: 10 km from Tournai 30 km from Lille and Valenciennes 2 min. walk from a direct bus line stop to/from Tournai train station 2 min. drive to a supermarket possibility of internet access in the main residence or in the orangery. If you feel like stretching your legs, the village of Rumes has a circuit of agricultural trails conducive to walking, cycling, or running. We provide our wood supply free of charge for wood fires, please empty it, clean after use. Guest access Guests can take advantage of our outdoor jacuzzi for a fee of 20 euros, per day of use, covering maintenance and electricity costs. To be specified when you book. When using the hot tub, the tenants will take care not to increase the initial temperature and not to eat in the hot tub. For your comfort, please provide bathrobes. Other things to note On request, we can make bikes available to you. Brochures available on activities and walking tours. Three restaurants are located in the heart of the village (1 km from the cottage). A supermarket is 800 m away, a large supermarket (Intermarché) is 1 km away. We do not serve breakfast. However, we provide guests with a coffee maker, a KRUPS espresso machine operating with dolce gusto pods, an electric kettle as well as a toaster and a microwave. Before leaving the premises, we ask guests to place dirty linen, sheets and towels on the kitchen floor, to sort their waste and place their garbage bags under the side awning, and to clean the stove. When using the jacuzzi, the guests will take care not to change the initial temperature and not to eat in the jacuzzi. As the toilet is equipped with a grinder, it is forbidden to throw tampons and/or sanitary napkins in it.
