The Rustic

This little cabin located at Bluebird Valley Campground and RV park is such a gem. Located a half mile from the highway, making it convenient to all of the sights. Whether you are spending your time on the river, hiking the trails, motorcycling the many switchbacks, visiting the casino or just chilling around a fire. The Rustic is sure to be the perfect little getaway from life’s fast pace. There are 3 of these cabins, look for The Kickstand and Double Down if you’re traveling with friends The space A large room with a queen size bed, easy chair, high top table and two bar stools. The space has a small refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, coffee maker, air conditioning and heat. A true glamping experience with water from the spigot and a beautiful new bath house just a few steps away with two large showers and two bathroom stalls on each side for showering and using the facilities.. Guest access Entire cabin, bath house and plenty of fields to walk in. A fresh community garden full of fresh herbs and vegetables (seasonal). please feel free to clip some herbs or pick some fresh vegetables for cooking or for tea. Guests are free to roam the campground. Play some cornhole or dip your toes into the historic Vengeance Creek. You may find a gem, a geode, an arrowhead or primitive tool. Other things to note Conveniently located just 35 miles from both The Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap and the Cherohala Skyway. Just 5 miles from Harrah’s Valley River Casino! Explore and hike the area boasting Bell mountain, the Brasstown Bald, Fires Creek and the gorgeous Nantahala Gorge. Self check in with a lock box, trash bins in the equipment building The Bluebird has two very cool mascots! A pair of Rouen ducks may visit you while you stay. Please do not feed them bread. It is really bad for them. Ask the hosts to provide you with some duck food or feed them corn, peas, lettuce, watermelon, etc. You can Google what is healthy for them to have. Please and thank you! If you are a smoker, please let us know, and an ashtray or ashcan will be supplied to you. There is no smoking inside the cabin. Please do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground or in the creek. The ducks can get very sick
